One more day in Badlands NP, then it's off to Devils Tower, WY tomorrow. A few shots from our travels thru the Badlands yesterday (4/30)

Made it to Council Bluffs, IA Saturday (just East of Omaha), had a date nite with Margie (Buffet!) and spent the night in the Harrah's Casino campground. Got an early start and headed to Mitchell SD.  Strong tailwind helped us get over 15 MPG. Bedded down in Mitchell and headed to the Badlands Nat'l Park tomorrow.

Headed to Council Bluffs tomorrow and then on to the Badland National Park next week!

FINALLY looks like the weather will cooperate!

Safe, Sound and Settled at Timberline Campground outside Des Moines Iowa.  Here for a couple days to decompress and figure out where we go next ... Mt. Rushmore and Badlands, OR Denver, OR ???  Lot depends on the weather cooperating ... translation - NOT FREEZING and sunshine!! :)

Had a choice between heavy snow, torrential rain or tornadoes - Happy Spring!  We decided to hunker down in NW Indiana.  Currently boondocking with Goldy in the driveway of an abandoned house next to Margie's sister.  Unfortunately, we can't see any mountains! :(
