Took a ride along the Beartooth highway today. 136 miles (68 one way) of some of the most beautiful scenery in the US. Climbs over 10,000 feet and has a zillion hills turns and switchbacks. Many picturesque lakes, snow (still), and a million rugged peaks. Stopped by Hitching Post in Yellowstone to look for wolves and caught a typical Yellowstone scene - stream, fisherman and LOTS of Bison. This area typically has a herd of 500-700 bedded down for the night.

Bullwinkle
Finally got to see a moose that's been running around near the Petrified Tree near Roosevelt. Not the greatest shot ... but we saw him on our lunch break with his back to the sun, so a lot of shadows ... BUT, it's clearly a bull moose!

Mesa Falls, Yellowstone Falls
Took a ride along the back side of the Tetons to Mesa Falls and then some late evening/night shots at the Yellowstone Canyon

Margie likes this shot with the water more natural

I like the "fuzzy water" shots

Took this shot just after the sun went down and the moon shone through a break in the clouds
