Visiting the Forts

Spent most of the day Visiting Fort Barrancus and sunset at Fort Pickens. Also got some nice pix of a pair of Osprey while Margie was at the laundramat.

Rain finally stopped.  Got a chance to get out of Goldy and take some pictures.  Pelican a the fishing pier was pretty friendly, especially since one of the fishermen was tossing him food ...   Can you find the horned owl in the nest???  Sunset was pretty OK, but no rain clouds (finally) muted the colors a bit!  Enjoy!

Friday Night

Spending the night at a KOA on Lake Panasoffkee in Florida. About an hour+ NE of Clearwater.  Nice little campground.  Had a free fish dinner tonight for everyone staying here!

Paynes Prarie State Park, FL

Took a walk on one of the trails on the preserve today.  Lots of wildlife.  Even got one shot of a Golden Eagle ... my first one! Gazillions of birds ... and Alligators!

The Big Day

Well, I made it!  I'm now 66 and can earn as much as I want and still get full SS benefits!  Thank God for "entitlements."  Oh, wait! I PAID INTO this "entitlement" for OVER 50 years, so maybe they're just returning MY money.  At least it's MY MONEY they're returning until I'm 84!  THEN, it's an "entitlement!"
