Sprague Lake is really (depressingly) different from our last visit! :( Everywhere you look the trees have either been cut down, fallen down, or are dying from the Pine Beetle damage.
I was so saddened by the devastation, I wasn't able to refocus on the beauty that still remains. Even tho we knew this area would look different on our return visit here ... we weren't prepared for this shock!
